Terrible, not even a week and it won’t power on.

I just got this 1 week ago, it won’t charge whatsoever. With the original charger, other chargers, nothing works. I’m very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the new flip 5. It's sound is clear and really great bass for the size. Also sounds better with two linked together in stereo.

I bought the refurbished version of this speaker, after having lost a brand new one. It works just as well for now (received it 2 weeks ago). I would totally recommend buying a refurbished one to same some money and some natural resources! It is a big problem that it does not connect with JBL Charge 4 though, while the JBL FLIP 3 could... I don't like this policy of obsolescence.

Sounds the same as my neighbor flip 4 model. Thought the sound and volume would be better but it’s the same, very disappointed

I just got this. Sound is good for a small speaker. I wanted something with more lunch, so I also got the Xtreme 2 assuming they would connect. No. PARTYBOOST and Connect+ aren’t compatible. Sneaky.

Thanks for providing your feedback with our JBL Flip 5. Our PartyBoost feature isn't compatible with our Connect + because they have different technologies. As Bluetooth technology improves, so do our portable products. As of the moment, our PartyBoost speakers are Flip 5, Pulse 4, and Boombox 2.
