Bought a customized flip5 for my husbands birthday & he loves everything about it from the bass & sound quality down to the custom design!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I charged this speaker and the power cord melted to it and was really hot. But outside in an outdoor stainless steel sink (no water in sink) because I was afraid the batteries would burst into flames. Unit was only 3 weeks old
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a week ago and it’s making staticky noise and when it charging it cuts off

Great sound but annoying

I bought this about a few weeks ago the sound is amazing when I use it. Although the sound is great it has become annoying to deal with it continuously turns on by itself. At first it was very now and then. Now it is constant after I turn it off it will turn back on on it’s own. Worse purchase I have ever made. Fix that and your product would be good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Impressive sound

Extremely impressed by the quality of sound! Only thing that concerns me is that the charging port does not have a cover and may get dirt and grime in it and eventually ruin the port rendering the speaker useless. This is the only reason for the 3 star durability and 4 star overall rating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Speaker! GET TWO of them for awesome stereo!

Well engineered to be tough and portable. Nice response curve from speakers and onboard digital processing. Party Boost is awesome when you put the speakers in stereo - nice imaging and depth. There's a new firmware update as of late August 2020 that is supposed to address the occasional stereo drop outs in Stereo Party Boost mode - which was my only criticism of the functioning of the speakers. I hope the new firmware fixes the problem.

Disappointed in custom graphics

We were unhappy the custom artwork/label we provided was not located elsewhere in the body of the speaker. The JBL red icon is right on top of the artwork- and there was plenty of space to locate artwork below JBL icon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased a customized JBL Flip 5 with my company logo on it, I expected it in 2 weeks per ETA given. Speaker arrived 6 days later and I could not be any more satisfied with how it turned out!!! Great work, great price, and quick turnaround. Good job and thank you JBL, I'll be back for more!!
