Nice upgrade to the Flip series

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this speaker a about a month ago and used it at a BBQ party, the clarity in the music while still getting the bass heaviness is amazing. This speaker is also user-friendly however I wish it could connect to speakers like the JBL Charge. Regardless this speaker is definitely a good buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really good battery life

I bought this JBL flip 5 5 months ago and till this day I have no complaints but my JBL when powers on does not make a noise of when connected to a new device and when searching for a new device but other than that it is a great speaker
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does not work with computers but great with phones

The speaker connects to my mac laptop for a few seconds then disconnects. The speaker will be connected to my laptop but the music plays out my laptop speakers. I saw this was a common problem and troubleshooting got me nowhere. At least it works well with a phone.

I brought this for my daughters graduation and the details and personalization came out perfect. She loved it so much and was in tears. We got so many compliments on it. Would recommend to other friends.

The difference in battery life for louder volume play is severely disappointing. And when plugged in the speaker still wouldn’t stay powered on.

We're sorry to hear about what happened. Our JBL Flip 5 Eco Edition's playtime hours depend on the volume level and music content. The speaker takes more power to produce a louder sound. If the speaker isn't meeting the advertised playtime hours from low to mid-volume level, there's a problem with the battery of the speaker.
