It is a gift for my daughter. She loves it. Disappointed that the newer model has a proprietary charging cable.

Its OK just not loud as I thought.

- Try using a different music player and if you're using an equalizer, turn it off.
- Try using a different source ex. (phone, tablet) for us to check if the sound would still be the same.
