Excellent Sound

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. He loves to listen to music while cleaning or playing his game. I also have one in my office at work. This speaker has a great sound with minimal volume. I had his speaker personalized with a picture and it looks GREAT! It looks just as the picture I uploaded.

this thing is a trash! my flip 5 started to turn on and then turn on by itself! it is very annoying specially when it does that sound at the start up.

Weird noise

I bought this speaker a few weeks ago and used it for the first time today. After a few minutes of playing music, it started to make crunchy, bad-sounding noises. I wasn’t playing the speaker super loud, and it hasn’t come into contact with water or anything like that, as I just took it out of the box. I am very disappointed with the quality of the speaker for the price I paid.

We're sorry to hear about what happened. Here are some steps for us to check your JBL Flip 5 Eco Edition:
1. Please try to use a different music player and if you're using an equalizer, turn it off.
2. Try using a different source like (phone, tablet) for us to check if you'll experience the same problem.
If steps 1-2 didn't work, you can also reset the speaker:
If you encounter issues using the speaker with your phone or tablet, or you want to remove all previous Bluetooth pairings from the speaker, it may be necessary to 'factory reset' the speaker.
How to reset
First, remove or forget the speaker from the list of paired Bluetooth devices in the settings of the phone or tablet.Then, with the speaker powered on, press and hold the Volume + and Play buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the unit turns off. The speaker has now been restored to factory default settings.
If the problem persists, please contact us, so we can assist you in checking your options: https://support.jbl.com/us/en/#contact

Partyboost Feature Fading

Great sound, but When using 2 of the speakers in party mode or stereo mode one of them fades in and out. It’s pretty inexcusable as they’ve had only moderate use for a year. Disappointing product.
