Not as happy as i thought

the Temp does not hold at 70 it bounces back from 67-71 and can not get the RH over 65 even with 3 Bovida packs and Yes i did season it properly

So far the unit is holding temps very well. I use Boveda packs for humidity control and unit has no problem holding my 69% Time will tell but so far unit is working great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome Humidor!

Full disclosure, I received this product for review and have no financial gain by offering a review. I received the New Air 250 Count Electric Cigar Humidor Wineador in Stainless Steel with Opti-Temp™ Heating and Cooling Function, Spanish Cedar Shelves, Digital Thermostat, and Security Lock and Key and absolutely love it! It holds closer to 200 cigars depending on how you load it. I load with boxes on the shelves and singles in the tray. Upon receipt, I added distilled water to the water tray and let it run at 70° for a couple days to season it and get the humidity level up to 70%. Super easy process! Simply wipe out the inside of the humidor after removing the cedar trays and shelves, then add them back in with the waiter tray. Then let it sit until desired humidity level is achieved. Then I added several boxes of cigars along with a couple Boveda 65% 320g packs and it's good to go! The trays are lightweight and the only issue I have with this model is having to open the door up beyond 90° to pull them out. If you have limited space keep that in mind. This has been corrected on the new 840 model as New Air has perfected the cigar humidors they make. The seal is perfect and the fan is quiet. You'll hardly be able to tell it is running. The quality on this unit is very nice, albeit the shelves are a little lighter weight than previous models. Again, the newer model 840 has also corrected this and I can't wait to upgrade to that in the future as needs are required. If you are needing a humidor to hold close to 200 cigars, more in smaller vitolas, this is a no brainer! You won't be disappointed!

Exactly what I was looking for!

I never have to worry about temperature fluctuations again! I need the heating & cooling feature for the Northeast weather in an old house. It's been very humid when I bought this so it took awhile to get the humidity level to 66%. I'm still working on it as it's at 68%. I have 65% boveda packs currently in the humidor. The device is quiet. I just hear the fan running. It runs all the time to circulate the air, which is great. The door provides a tight see and the controls are easy to use. My biggest complaint is the light is useless! They should have put led strips in between the shelves. If you want to see the hydrometer reading or your cigars you'll be using your phone light.

Nice design (BUT!)

I highly suggest if you purchase this unit get the extended 3 year warranty. For me a year later the cooling is no longer working. I regret not getting a extended warranty and I regret my purchase. my room at ambient temperatures of 72゚ year around I had the unit set at 【66] I had it plugged into a surge protector so all said and done this product is not worth it $499 price for just 14 months..
