Probably the best humidor out there!

I love that I can control temp inside to a desired temp to keep the cigars fresh. This may seem like a pricy product, but if you really want to keep your cigars fresh, this seems like the best option. Humidity levels are accurate and cigars will keep very well in this unit. Cigars can get expensive and you want to protect your cigars as you age them. So do it right. Buy this and 3 mega packs of Bóvedas at your humidifying preference.

Easy set up.

Setup was very easy. I didn't notice the plastic smell others have complained about. Mine smelled like cedar when first opened. Still, I washed and rinsed the inside per instructions, wiped down the cedar shelves, and used the humidifier tray that came with it to season it. Quick, easy process. In a day or two I was ready to go. One thing not mentioned in the instructions, but noted on the power cord, is that you need to keep the unit level for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. I understand that this is important with all small (and large) refrigerators to assure internal fluids are where they should be before beginning refrigeration. I also seasoned and added a few cedar boxes to help organize my cigars, as only one drawer is included. The shelves are good to put boxes on, but cigars will tend to roll off if just stacked on trays. Humidity is higher in my humidor on top rack versus bottom by about 3-4 degrees. Not a big deal. I'm keeping right around my preferred 70 & 72+/-. I took delivery just over a month ago, and everything is good so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Won't hold temperature

The first one I received would not heat out of the box . New Air replaced it and it worked for almost a year and now is just like the first one . It won't pass room temperature. I paid the large price tag expecting a reliable humidor that I would not have to worry about only to be let down. Thermostat is set to 74 degrees and it won't go past 65. So far I am extremely hesitant to purchase any future New Air products due to reliability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best humidor I've ever owned

For those of us that have been smoking cigars longer than a weekend, we can all agree it takes a little bit of time to get stuff dialed in. No difference with this unit but once I got it dialed in it's absolutely perfect. I use cigar oasis for my humidification. But I love that this thing stays at the temperature I need to keep my sticks nice and fresh. The best part is that I did have a small issue and the company backs up it's initial warranty super fast with no problems. Highly recommend this unit.
