Broken Corner Molding - Knobs Stickout Too Much

Bought unit several months ago, but had it installed a couple of months back. The unit works well, but has the following issues:
- the front of unit has little corner molding at each end, not sure why, but one of the molding is missing. Not sure how this happened. Regardless, LG repair technician came over and looked at the problem and had to order a new corner molding. I don't know why he came onsite without a replacement molding when they had all the information and pictures showing the missing piece? Still waiting for replacement part, arrival of pare is unknown :-(((
- Front Knobs to control the burners are sticking out and are very sensitive, it is easy to be touch while walking by and the burner turns on without you knowing. This has happened a few times with us and fortunately nothing was on top of burner at the time, but otherwise this could of been a very dangerous situation.
- The unit itself scratches very easily, for a new unit it already have multiple scratches. Note; both my partner and I are very careful in using this unit minimize and new scratches.
* Lastly, knowing now the issues with this unit, I should have gone with one of the other units with now corner molding and more tilted/protected front knobs.

I just love my stove and the way it cuts down on baking time. The only thing I am concerned about is the control knobs in the front. They may need to be adjusted because if you just bump up against them, they will turn the stove on without you noticing.

Purchased two months ago. We've really enjoyed it so far. It has taken a bit to gauge the temperature because our old range was really old and likely the thermostat was off. I used the easy clean feature which is helpful in keeping the inside looking good. Haven't tried the self clean yet. There's only negative I can think of and this isn't the fault of the range itself. We really like the look of having the controls on the front giving it a more built-in look. Unfortunately, my husband and I are in our 60s and it's difficult to see the settings on the knobs. We have to bend down for a close look. Again, our fault for not taking that into consideration...just something to keep in mind. Other than that, we're loving the new addition to our kitchen.

We love our range and we love LG!

We bought a complete LG suite for our recently updated kitchen because we've had LG products previously and we LOVE them. This slide-in range has a contemporary feel due to its low profile. It is beautiful and performs perfectly. I always test a new oven with an oven thermometer and this oven. Note: you need to preheat about 6mins beyond the "preheat" audible indicator. This is usually due to the sensors in the oven being placed above the middle of the oven. Waiting 6 mins has been right on for me and the oven then does a nice job of maintaining your set temp. I highly recommend!
