Interesting concept for a stove- some adjustments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting a phenomenal performance from this product. I really do think it has potential, however, few obvious adjustments must be made. Firstly, the cooktop: the rubber area around a hot cooktop is definitely a no no. Really, where else are you going put your hot cookware than on the hot cooktop? Then the rubber gets, well you know what is next! Secondly, how do you clean the knobs? The writings wash completely off whenever I try to clean it. Thirdly, the cooktop is extremely fragile! Can’t drag anything across it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven itself is beautifully designed. Where I think this stands out is the oven features. The Pro Bake Convection system really is fantastic, this is likely my favorite oven. It's very easy to use, with a dial that indicates what function you are using and the heating is incredibly fast. I really enjoyed that this oven is multifaceted and the air fryer was a great plus for me. Remote connect start was a nice add and the self clean feature was fantastic to use.
The reason this is not a 5 star review from me is the stove top. The ranges take long to heat up and once they do, they seam overheated, so it's a delicate balance I was unable to master. I also dislike the fragility of the surface. The instructions indicate how important not scratching (accidental glide of pans) or cracking can be for the oven itself since it's a ceramic top. This becomes a potential liability for the longevity for the range top, which I found to be a negative point.
In closing, this is a decent stovetop and fantastic oven with a lot of features to take advantage of.

Pretty but dangerous

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to buy this beautiful stove, I have had the stove for 18 days and my house almost burns on fire. I have 3 kids which are old enough but the knobs on this stove are defective, they turn on almost by themselves. If you simply walk by or reach to get something from stove they turn on. I had taken out of oven the air fryer basket so I put a towel on top of my cold glass stove and never thought that while my guest were serving themselves from the tray the knob from one of the stove were towel was turned on and thankfully I smelled it cause it was about to catch in fire. Now it has happened 3 times already. How can a company like LG make knobs that are so sensitive withtout lock features, this is so dangerous
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
