We bought this dishwasher a month ago and it works. Cleans fairly well. It appears built to last - only time will tell.

Very nice dishwasher! Very quiet & cleans great! It has 3 wash arms, so you can actually put bowls & pans in bottom basket!

Not what its suppose to be

I bought this a couple months ago and was very excited until the silverware always come out dirty. I cant put all of my utensil in properly the door won't close. It will not hold long cooking utensils. It says it hold 16 place settings and it does but that is it no extra pans. Top shelf is rather small. I cant place all the dishes I use to have in my last dishwasher in this one and its suppose to be bigger. Soap compartment will not open if there is silverware in front of it. Some types of pods will not dissolve fully. Very un happy with this product and I love my kitchen and GE products this one however is disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We replaced our old dishwasher with this unit and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Our old dishwasher left food on the plates and was soo loud. When we first turned it on - we wondered if it was even on. No noise and you could actually hear the television in the other room. Great Product! Great Price!

Poor design and performance

My mother replaced her old DW with this model and it is making her life miserable. The glasses and mugs do not fit into the top rack well and the back lower rack will only work with large plates in the back, very poorly designed. The silverware basket blocks the soap dispenser so often it does not work properly and the soap is not dissolved at the end of the long cycle. Worst DW ever and I have purchased GE before and was satisfied. This one should be recalled.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far after only three months everything looks good with the dishwasher...real test will be a year from now when the warranty ends
