Get To Know This Dishwasher

I like the features of this dishwasher, especially the upper silverware container. It allows you to put in spoons and forks without opening the door wide open. It is much quieter than my old dishwasher and the dishes come out clean!
Something you should know..., if you are like me and don't like to use a heated dry cycle, you need to open the door after the machine concludes the cycle and leave it open for 3-5 minutes. You will find the dishes will be nice and dry. Don't do this and they will be wet. So be patient and you'll save time and electricity!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The features are excellent

I brought this dishwasher two months ago although I think the features are fantastic ,I can't say the same thing for the dishwasher itself the # 1reason it takes forever to do a normal wash w/heated dry ...and if you have heavy soiled dishes or bakeware and use the heavy duty cycle it takes forever and a day. Sometimes about four hours to do a wash I think that's a little
ridiculous

Dishwasher with upper and lower silverware racks
on December 13, 2014

When I saw this dishwasher at the store I was impressed and loved being able to get a dishwasher with upper and lower silverware racks. However, once home and I have used it I realized one major downfall. The way the dishwasher racks were made were so the silverware racks mounted to the outside, and in order to do that they had to SHORTEN the length of both entire racks. So if you don't need to use both silverware racks you can't take one out and gain any space! They saved on some metal charges, but if someone who actually used a dishwasher designed it then they would have designed it so when the silverware rack was taken out the upper or lower racks would have GAINED SPACE. Seriously, they should take free advise from users of their dishwashers! Disappointed! Not to mention the dishwasher has started not cleaning all the cleaner out of the container on the door and we are only 6 weeks after installation. A service call has been set-up.

In general a very nice product.

Purchased this about a year ago and use every day or so. Only comment is that there has to be a clear path for the water to spray between the lower spinning sprayer and the soap dish on the inside of the door, otherwise the soap will not be used after the soap flipper door opens. This means the lower silverware holder has to be on the side (not the front), and there needs to be a gap in front of the soap dish on the lower dish tray.

Affordable Piice with just enough features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family of 5 has been without a dishwasher for 1 yr., with two children in college some essentials go on the back burner. Needed an affordable dishwasher with basic features at a good price that would fit under 34"counter and we found that in this product. Presently have all GE appliances and couldn't be happier. They give you a good bang for your buck!

This dishwasher holds lots of dishes and tall glassware.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher runs very quietly and holds lots of dishes. My only complaint is that I have to use the heated dry (I also use the heat boost feature) to get my dishes to dry; even then, the silverware doesn't dry. The silverware rack holds the water because of it's design and location in front next to the door. I could move the rack but then there would be less room for dishes. The heat boost, and dish rack features are what I was shopping for, so in all, I am satisfied with my purchase. My last GE lasted 15 years.

If I had it to do over I would not purchase this model. The silverware does not stand up in the silverware holder thus food does not always come off, especially the forks. I was told there would be more room for dishes with the silverware holder in front of the racks instead of on the side; there is not, plus you have to be careful when you pull out the racks or you will pull the silverware tray off. This model does not hold as many dishes as my previous model did which requires the dishwasher to be run more often or after supper I will put as many as I can get in then I hand wash the rest, which defeats the purpose of having a dishwasher. I guess if I didn't cook as much or have a family of 4 eating 2 or 3 meals a day I wouldn't have as many dishes to be cleaned.
