Unhappy New Home Owner w/ Dirty Dishes

This GE Model dishwasher was what was installed in our newly constructed Home, but we've regretted not selecting another model ever since as we've had nothing but troubles with this dishwasher. The Service Repair people are great but who wants to schedule multiple service calls in a brand new home. Model finally seems to be working properly now, however there's still a very strong plastic smell every time you open the door to load/unload the dishwasher. Save your money, buy another brand or model. :(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BOTTOM RACK STRANGE

This was purchased as a replacement for another unit which was sold out. I did not see it prior to purchase and I have had a dickens of a time figuring out how to load the bottom rack. Thr prongs face funny directions and there are only 4 rows of them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dishwasher

Bought this new two months ago and am extremely happy with the model. It's very quiet and energy efficient. The Dishes get clean and the glasses sparkle. Highly recommend it!

Very disappointed with this "upgrade"

This was the upgraded model that was available from our builder. "Heated dry" cycle still leaves items wet and the interior very wet. The interior space is good. Controls are to "touchy" - virtually starts on its own when brushed up against the control panel. Does run fairly quietly.

we recently remodeled the kitchen . The kitchen was nor originally equipped with a dishwasher and we decided to have the cabinets modified to accept one at a later date. My wife decided to have one installed now so thats the way we went. She is so thrilled with the GE dishwasher and is amazed how quiet it is and the great job it does. An additional benefit is that She doesn't have to use gloves to hand wash the dishes. I agree ; it saves her soft hands and manicure, lol
