I wish this model had the delayed start options and the buttons were located elsewhere. The dishwasher buttons are activated easily when pressed.

Poor washing and drying performance

This was the dishwasher chosen for my brand new home three months ago. It has already broken once (it was fixed under warranty) but still has disappointing washing and drying performance. While most dishes are clean after running, some do not seem to have been cleaned properly. Keep in mind I rinse all my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Additionally ALL the dishes are still soaking wet after running. I expect some to be damp or have some water, but the amount of water still on glasses, bowls and plates is ridiculous. It's been disappointing overall!

Does not dry well...

Have had this in use for about 1 year now, and two most frustrating complaints is the inability to completely dry the contents and the poor basket storage system for silverware and utensils. The slots in the basket are not large enough to hold most standard spoons, knives and forks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Front Rubber Gasket

The dishwasher performs great. However, the front rubber gasket falls out after so many washes. GE finally replaced the other dishwasher with the new one about a month ago. Last night I opened t dishwasher and the gasket was hanging there out again. This is a flaw that needs to be addressed.

This dishwasher came with the home that I purchased. I feel it does an ok job, however the drying cycle stinks, so you still have to dry by hand. Also I don't use the soap dispenser feature because it doesn't always open and the soap is still inside, so I just toss a cleaning pouch into the bottom of the machine before I start a load..

This was installed in my new home and it works ok, it cleans well but tends to leave spots after drying. Overall I'm ok with it

We moved in to a new home and purchased all new appliances for the kitchen. We looked at different products from the other manufacturers, but always came back to GE products. We've never been disappointed with the service and quality from GE.
