We purchased all GE appliances when we moved into our new home in September. We have been quite happy with them. I do wish the builder had offered us the choice of a GE Profile as I would have preferred that one.

The inside is always wet, never dries well and someimes it will run for hours until I turn it off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this a week ago. It is a great unit. Very quite. Does an outstanding job of washing. Couldn't be more pleased.

Soap doesn't always dispense. Repairman told me not to put the silverware tray in the front.
Doesn't dry. Repairman told me to leave the door open overnight after running the cycle. He told me to run the hot water in the sink before starting the dishwasher. He basically admitted that it doesn't work but they would just keep sending him back until my year warranty ran out.
Which it did (bought in Nov 2012). Inside racks are already breaking and rusty.
I run it almost daily. Have 3 little kids. Definitely not durable. Very disappointing. We thought we were buying quality because it was GE. Won't do that again.

It did not clean the dishes well and left milk rings still in some glasses.
I checked water temp and this model has temp boost. Plus It ran for over 1 & 1/2 hrs just on normal wash. I thought I was getting one of the best by buying a GE. I was surprised to see in the directions that you
should scrape and rinse the dishes first. I always do, but if I have to clean them well first, why bother with a dishwasher?

Although the dishes are clean, they remain wet even at the end of a heated dry cycle. Adjusting the water temp (as suggested in the manual) resulted in a two-plus hour washing/drying cycle. Wet dishes again. Great dish cleaning product if air drying dishes is the goal!
