Just the average machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher's appearance is beautiful with user friendly buttons and a stainless steel cover. After putting it to use with dirty dishes, I noticed it does not have a status indicator; from washing, rising, to drying. Once the cycles were completed, my dishes were still drenched with hot water. I used both the hot wash and heated dry. Also, more than half my dishes needed to be hand washed in order to clean off all the remaining residue. This dishwasher is more of a polisher than an actual cleaner. Although I continue to use it, I have to ensure I scrub off all the dishes so there is no residue on them before I place them in the dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Average product cons and pros equal out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is an average dishwasher for the price. The pros are that it has several selection features, it's very nice looking and very quiet. The cons. I don't think it washes all that great and does not dry very well at all. Even after all the extra drying setting are choosen, dishes are still wet.

Nice look but poor performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishwasher looks nice, very quiet but cleaning performance is average and heated dry does not work. I have to leave the dishwasher open overnight for item to dry or I must hand dry.

Noisy and long cycle times

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though attractive, this dishwasher is very noisy. We can run it while still in the kitchen, but one is certainly aware that the machine is running.
If the "Normal" wash and dry cycles are selected, the machine runs for about 50 minutes. However if you select any additional features, like "Temp Boost" or "Heated Dry", plan on that adding 30 minutes for each additional feature.
I would not recommend this dishwasher to a friend.

Looks great but underperforms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the repair technician out twice in owning this appliance for three months. He had to order a part three days later because of a faulty water jet. He returned to evaluate the heating elements which did not dissolve the soap nor dry the dishes. We were told our water temp in the house was too cool. We raised the temp and still battle soap that doesn't dissolve (yes the Cascade pods as recommended) and have to towel dry the dishes even after the heating cycle has supposedly ended.

washes well, but after a month a plastic utensil holder broke off and we had to order a new one

Nice appearance, but do not like button operation set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have liked GE Products and have purchased them over the years . I do not like the set up for button functions. I find it not very user friendly and frustrating when I push buttons to go from on/to type of cycle I want to run. Prefer buttons that are not flat to the panel and that call out exactly the function. Not hold three second to do this or push to do that. A product is a good product when I can operate it with not having to refer to the manual 90% of time. I can just push two buttons and walk away or stop or reset or simply rinse with out all the selection jumping
