Great Dishwasher

I love this dishwasher! It is very quiet and my silverware no longer has spots on them! The upper tray is not adjustable but with the tall tub feature my large dishes fit without any problems. Great buy for the money!

My dishwasher, also a GE, finally stopped working after many years. It had all the bells and whistles which I actually never used. I wanted a simple dishwasher that cleans the dishes. This product does get them clean, however, I am a little disappointed in the drying feature. Other than that, it does what I wanted for a very good price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replaced an old Kenmore with this GE dishwasher. It cleans and dries well, but runs for over 2 hours. Quiet.

I have only had this washer for about a week and have run through several uses. My initial impression was that it is much quieter than expected. I put in some very dirty dishes including frying pan with dried egg and some larger utensils like spatula and pizza cutter. I used the sample cascade detergent and rinse that came with it and used the normal cycle with drying. I was thrilled to see the results! Everything was clean and shiny and dry, even the pans and fork tines. I did not expect it to work as well as it did. I am very happy with it so far and after reading the negative reviews, I wonder if we're talking about the same machine. I have no problems at all and even installed it myself. I am no plumber or electrician, but followed the directions without problems. I don't know why others are having such issues. I would eagerly recommend this dishwasher based on my experience.

Bought the original version back in 1999, had an expected life of 10 years, so I was pleased. Nothing fancy about it, but it cleans good

Cheap waste of money

Takes forever (2 hours for a plain washcycle without any heat or extra is too long I don't care how you try to say its "normal") It als, does a lousy job and dishes are often still dirty and they do not dry. Came with the new house, builder must have gotten a really good deal to put these in. Same for underpowered lousy GE microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

quiet washer

My new dishwasher is very quiet. I like the silverware baskets, three all total, that can be removed and fit various sizes of utensils. The inside racks have special shaping to fit various size skillets, down to the smallest bowl. You can also select what kind of wash you need from lightest to heaviest.
