Just what I wanted and needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rated this product when I first purchased it a few months ago and still feel the same about it now. Does the job it's supposed to do--wash dishes! It's not fancy yet still looks very high-end. I have read about the dishes still being wet after a cycle. I do not use the heat dry, I just open the door when the cycle is done and let the dishes air dry. Doesn't take any more time than if they were drying on the counter. Overall a great product with great value.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent at cleaning dishes. Loading and racks are very good. Very sturdy racks. Only complaint is it does not air dry the dishes very well but I know others who have the same problem with other brands. They used to circulate unheated air. I have to open the dishwasher and let air dry for a couple of hours. That is the only inconvenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hd a service call about the drying issue; was advised to leave door open after cycle is done. All the dishes need to be thoroughly rinsed, otherwise they come out stained. I'm NOT satisfied with this product; the salesman talked me into it. This is my last GE dishwasher!

This product did not clean any of our dishes. we would rinse food from dishes before loading but they did not come out clean. The soap tablet would not be completely used up. we had 2 technicians from GE come out who both said there was nothing wrong with the product so would not repair / replace / investgate further to make it work. Even wet ketchup etc would still be the same amount after a long wash. The customer service from GE was the worst I have ever experienced and they were happy to leave us with a faulty product that was not sutable for the use it was intended. it looks nice but we could not use it! I will never buy abother GE appliance after the service or lack of we received. I would give it 0 stars if that was an option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good looking machine. It is quiet and I have noticed my water usage and power bill has decreased while still doing a good job on the pots and pans as well as dishes, glasses and silverware.

Issues with soap residue and dispenser.

I like that the top and bottom have washer wands. I don't like that the dish detergent leaves a white, filmy residue---even when using Cascade and other name brands. The place where you put the detergent is plastic and cheap. You have to carefully place your utensils to not block it in any way, or the detergent holder won't spring open during wash cycle.

First it was not installed correctly because the feet are too short..then the heated dry wouldnt work...then I was told that software was out of date after three weeks of having it installed...they also told me that I have to turn my water heater up above 120º just to run the dishwasher correctly...I would rather not scald my children....still waiting 3 months later for GE to figure out how to make it work right....junk.

Does a good job for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like the machine; low noise levels; cleans well. I'm not pleased that the dishes are still wet when cycle is done, or that the inside of the door needs to be wiped off after each cycle. I do like the controls on the front of the machine and that the door always closes tightly.
