Lacking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is either literally small, or the internal layout could be improved, as it seems we are constantly filling up and running the dishwasher. The air/heat dry runs forever and the dishes are still soaking wet afterwards It probably wouldn't be bad for a single person living in an apartment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this from the builder of our home and its horrible. I'm already saving for a new one after having it for only two months. The repair guy came and told me all I can do is keep making sure the water is hot in the kitchen sink because it isn't drying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very disappointed with the quality of this product. For one, the dishes are not dry when the cycle is complete. While the dishes are clean, they're still wet so we end up having to dry them all by hand. Another problem is that one of the pieces inside the dishwasher that sprays water keeps falling off and we have to snap it back into place. Based on these shortcomings, I am giving it a bad rating. While it looks good and has many of the features you look for in a dishwasher, it just doesn't perform.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn't hold as many dishes as my last one. Dishes aren't dry after heated cycle. The product came without new home we had no choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with our new dishwasher. The machine does not show fingerprints, has multiple ways to clean silverware and plenty of room. My one complaint would be that you have to use jet dry in addition to the dishwashing liquid for the dishes to come out dry, once the cycle has ended.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My husband and I just bought a new home, and all appliances came with the purchase price of the home. All of the appliances are GE and brand new. Unfortunately your dishwasher does not perform very well and the quality leaves a lot to be desired. In requesting from the builder an "Ooh La La" kitchen we thought that the appliances would be of better quality. The inside is all plastic and the smell that comes from that is horrible. It never fully cleans the dishes and is very noisy for a new machine.

Improved to Fair

We have used this dishwasher for a year and have 30 years experience with GE dishwashers. This newer model is improved, having 3 rotors rather than the old one rotor center post design. This new design is far superior and has improved the performance to where we find dirty dishes coming out on only about 25% of the loads (down from 75%). The machine is superbly quiet, a very important quality where the dishwasher is next to the main living area. The racks, while generally improved from past models, are still very unsatisfactory. Whoever designs GE dishwasher racks apparently has never loaded a dishwasher in household use. The wires of the racks are too far apart, allowing glasses to fall over. The racks are very awkward for loading the variety of shapes (dishes, pots, pans, food containers, etc.) that need to be cleaned. It is really quite maddening at times. The design of the utensil holder, it's shape and placement outside of the main cleaning action of the lower rotor, is worse than poor, resulting in sporadic dirty utensils, especially knives. I have the perspective of my previous home's dishwasher, a different brand, where 95% of the loads come out perfectly clean, including challenges and baked on food (I do not pre-rinse and loads sit unwashed overnight), and the racks are well designed with flexibility for awkward shapes. We had no choice, as this new machine came with the new home, no option to swap brands. Bummer.
