Numerous Features at an economical price

All dishwashers clean, the difference is the non-cleaning features. Instead of a central pop-up, this model uses rotating helicopter-type rotors, taking up no room at all so you can fit in many more dishes. Instead of one level allowing the water to bounce off the ceiling, this has both an uppermost and a lowermost rotor. Instead of just two, this has three rotors, and the middle one has extra jets aimed at the silverware. The silverware basket in on the door, taking up no room at all, allowing you to fit in even more dishes. Yet, there is an additional basket just for utensils, leaving you more room for silverware on the door. Both have fold down tops to keep the water pressure from pushing small objects out. It has both a food disposal unit and a filter. The height of the top rack is adjustable. There is no dial to break and no latch to fail. There are four cycles to choose and two heated options. If you chose a more expensive model or brand, all you would get is luxuries, not better cleaning or convenience. Although this model does not have fold-down tines or a delicate-crystal cycle or a time delay or a rinse-aid-empty warning light, it has much more than any other model in its price range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to do a good enough job of getting the dishes clean. Dry cycle leaves something to be desired. The builder already had it installed in the house. Will probably upgrade when this unit dies.

Product does great job on the tough stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though we have hard water and initially thought that might; cause problems with getting things clean this dishwasher does a great job of cleaning everything we have put in it. Even things that were baked on hard. Like the silverware basket on the door where it is very handy. It loads a lot of dishes and cookware at a time.

Dishwasher for our vacation condo

The existing dishwasher was new but it was so loud during use that we couldn't start it when we were watching tv, or when we were going to bed, or when we had friends over. After two years we decided to replace it with the GE. Installation was a breeze. When the installer pulled out the old one it had a blanket on it, and I noticed the new GE didn't have a blanket. I asked the installer do we just use this old blanket? He said no you won't believe how quiet this machine is. He was right. I have to stand next to it to hear it operating. It cleans as advertised and was very reasonably priced. My wife loves it and so do our neighbors since they can no longer hear the dishwasher running.
I would recommend this to a friend!
