Rust rust rust **

There is rust in the racks and it’s leaving rust marks on my dishes. Unable to believe this. I see there are several reviews similar to this which sounds like a deep quality issue in manufacturing .

Rusty racks

This dishwasher is OK, the racks don’t last that long as well as the motor. I already got the motor replaced through GE appliances however, you have to purchase a whole kit now instead of just the part which is way more expensive. Only use top rack now that the bottom rack is severely rusted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Racks are terrible.

Ithe dishwasher works well but the racks are terrible. The coating came off and the today's spots are making spots on my dishes.

Top and bottom drawers are rotting. Dishwasher works well but the drawers are a nightmare.

Rusted front after only a few years.

I have had this dishwasher for about 12 years. The front panel bottom corners rusted out after just two years. I thought it would be covered by warranty. Why wouldnt it?in what world is it OK for your brand new dishwasher to rust out. Apparently it’s OK in GE world. It was not was coveree. . I had a brand new house that was only two years old with a rusted out. Dishwasher looked like crap. The dishwasher is loud and if you don’t rinse your dishes as well, it will not clean them. Bottom tray also rusted out not a good model.
