Very cheap model

Grate drawers broke without the first 4 years of using. The rotating sprayer at the top snaps off very easily so it limits the type of items you can put on the top rack. We have had a lot of issues with this machine. As of now, 7 years later and we are not dealing with a draining and heating issue on the unit as well. Hoping it’s something we can fix and it’s an affordable fix.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped working after a year and a half

Of course just after 1 year manufacturers warranty the thing breaks. I won't be buying GE again.

The racks are falling apart.

The coating on the racks comes off, then they rust, then the wires break off, then it doesn't hold the plates up. New racks cost about 1/3 of a whole new dishwasher. We have had this for 7 years. Our first Maytag lasted 18 years.

WONT START: Troubleshooting

I have one of these and it was new never used still had styrofoam packing on the racks, was never used and in a house we bought. We bought a new set of appliances for the new house, and I moved this one to a rental house, installed, and can't get it to work.
The start button light comes on green for a few seconds and then flashes; it never starts. Tries all settings and modes, same thing.
I have downloaded and looked at installation instructions, but there is no troubleshooting section in any of the docs I have seen. Please help supply troubleshooting docs.

Most reliable DW I've ever had. I have rental properties, and each property has this model. I Brought one with me when I moved to Vegas. That was 12 years ago. I finally think it's time to rebuy one. BUT NOOOOO it's not available. WHY? Love the utensil tray in door.

Great item until now, item is approx. 5 years old. Does not dry dishes. Detergent loader is hung up and does not stay closed/open when needed.
