Huge Upgrade

Ok, so I caved and ordered a brand new dishwasher for the first time. My ancient Westinghouse worked fine, but it was white and I want to transition everything to black (gave the Westinghouse to a friend that didn't have a dishwasher at all). Since I already had a dishwasher, the installation of this one was minimal hassle (I am disappointed that it did not come with hose clamps though). Once it was installed, it looked shiny and beautiful, with the raised GE logo standing out like the Batman emblem. The interior setup is way roomier than the old Westinghouse, so much so that I am going to have to relearn how to load a dishwasher properly ("proper" loading techniques have been a point of contention in society for years, similar to the "proper" way to load a toilet paper roll). When I ran it for the first time, I kept asking my girlfriend "is it working?", because it is super quiet compared to my old reliable Westinghouse. The Westinghouse I could hear the water spray and swoosh and drain with muscle and power, but this dishwasher sounded quiet and soft, like it was a ballerina in a biker bar. I was afraid that so much finesse out of a dishwasher wouldn't translate to clean dishes, but I was wrong. Even though the cycles take a lot longer than my old dishwasher, the dishes come out way cleaner. I am happy and impressed with this product and look forward to using it for decades to come.

So far it is has been working great. The dishes come out clean and mostly dry. Some things need to be dried after but overall its great.
