Not too happy with this dishwasher. The dishes are still soaking wet after heat cycle is complete. The upper spin device has fallen off twice, so you have to be very careful that nothing too tall is on the upper rack. I miss my old 15 year old dishwasher.

Loud and doesn't clean as well as we would like. IT seems to take a long time to run its cycles. We have had a better dishwasher before in last house, it was a different brand. we will be returning to that brand in a few months just because we are not satisfied with this model.

Lots of minor issues

This is the worst dishwasher I've ever used. It's only 2 years old and I am planning on replacing it already. I will throw it away as soon as possible. It takes forever to finish a cycle and it does such a poor job! Often the lid that closes the detergent compartment doesn't open so the cycle goes through without detergent (you are supposed to clean and scrape the border of the compartment, I did and it worked in the past for a couple of months but lately it hasn't, so I'm not closing the compartment anymore), sometimes the glasses come out with a white film covering them (you are supposed to clean the filters when this happens to remove buildup and I do every time, but sometimes it happens 3 cycles after I cleaned the filters), sometimes items come out with smell, sometimes items come out still dirty...the cheap, basic unit (different brand) that I had in my old house worked like a charm for 6 years (and it was already there when I moved in) and never had an issue, all the dishwashers that I've used in rental apartments always worked great (they were all a different brand), I never had a single issue with any dishwasher but this piece of junk gives me headaches all the time. I've already tried different detergents and I don't live in a hard water area. I will have to replace it after only 2 years. I will not ever buy a GE dishwasher again.
