Replacing 2 year old GE dishwasher

This dishwasher is a disappointment. It looks pretty good but feels very cheap. It did not even have the insulation piece that wraps around most dishwashers.
Sadly I had to buy a new dishwasher to replace one that is only two years old but stopped working. I only bought GE to match the rest of appliances.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needs more features/ options

This was the dishwasher that came with our new home and it just didn't impress me. I guess the builder was trying to cut costs. I have had dishwashers with more features and options like a pause option or a sanitizing cycle. Also, after drying we have to leave the dishwasher opened so the dishwasher itself could dry. The dishes came out dry but inside of the dishwasher was still wet and I didn't know if it would start smelling if I didn't allow it to dry. It is a basic model. Not truly impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not lift heavy stains

I bought this appliance very recently and had a great expectation about this product. I thought it would remove tuffest of the tuffest stains from the utensils efficiently. However, most of the masala remnants from the indian cooking that remains on the utensils do not get removed properly. We have to manually scrub them in order to remove them. I just used it a couple of times and am not very happy with the performance. I recommend shopping for a better dishwasher if available

Works like a charm, not a fan of the front display or the black at the top. However, cleans the dishes great and is relatively quiet.
