GE is what was in the contract of our new home. Still wondering why a dishwasher runs for over 2 1/2 hrs to clean dishes?

Worried at first that it came with no pad, but the dishwasher runs almost silently. Also seems more powerful than our more expensive dishwasher that quit after just a few years.

This is the unit that was an upgrade when we purchased our new home. It is loud, noisy and I would not purchase another GE appliance.

This was an upgrade I chose in the new home I purchased where the builder offered GE appliances. GE has always been a great company but I was disappointed with the service of this dishwasher. Initially I used the normal cycle but had a lot of moisture on the inside of the door and many spots on glasses. The GE tech recommended I use the water temperature boost cycle and Rinse Aid to help with the spots. That did help. The bottom dish rack often comes off the tracks. I took the top off the silverware bins as they were a pain to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This came in the house that we built and was an "upgrade" from the lower GE model. Drys dishes terribly and the design of the racks does not allow alot of dishes in at once. Would have hated to see what the non "upgraded" GE dishwasher was.

Dishwasher has great features such as a deeper bottom shelf for larger items. Nice flatware holder.

Worst dishwasher we've ever had

Cycles are hours long. Too noisy to be heard over. Doesn't get dishes clean even with water temp boost on or dry them when on dry cycle. Soap dispenser is easily blocked by silverware holder so you have to be very careful not to have anything too close to it. Dish holder prongs aren't quite the right fit for dishes.
