The sleek appearance

I love that the dishwasher is quiet while in use. I also love that it has multiple silverware compartments and jets on the top and bottom racks.

It most of the time does the work, but after 1 month, I was seeing crusty dishes and have to make sure everything is pre-rinsed prior to placing in the dishwasher, which we didn't have with our past dishwashers. The feature that allows you to place the silverware on the front or the side of the dishwasher at times gets in the way of closing the door, when placed on the front. I also opened the door after a wash to find the spin blade from the top had fallen off. The last negative is that the outer appearance of the stainless look always appears cloudy or shaded - no matter how much I clean/polish it. Always in the same spot. What I like about it is the slots to put the silverware in and extra holder on top to place utensils/other small items. It holds a good amount of dishes and most of the time washes well, as long as things are prewashed. I DO NOT like the fact that there is always a puddle of standing water in the bottom and sides of the dishwasher, even on the heated dry setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dishwasher was a choice when I bought my townhome, and I have always had great service from GE products! This is no different! Love it!

Water pump was defective when we move in to a new house so made an appointment with the engineer to replace the parts.And at the runs nicely and smooth.

Problems....

I bought 2 dishwashers for rental properties in July/ August 2014. The heated dry does not work particularly well and on one the door gasket leaked. Had to call for service. Problem now resolved.
I would recommend this to a friend!
