My only concern is the ability to keep the stainless surface clean and polished looking. Otherwise does a good job. However, I have also noted a yellowing to the countertop corner just above the dishwasher. Will be getting in touch with my buider to check this out.

Not impressed with the how the dishes are still not dry at the end of the cycle. The baskets for silverware are annoying. Who wants to touch silverware that has been eaten from? And then you have to make sure your hands are washed before taking the silverware out as to Not get germs on cleaned ware. Would recommend to GE not putting slots for silverware. I have had several new dishwashers in different homes. This is not my favorite.

Recently bought and installed this is unit because of good reviews on Home Depot. Cleans pretty well, but the drying function leaves much to be desired.

Have had this about a month. It's installed in my canning kitchen. The controls are very good and the inside is laid out very well. It does a good job doing my pots and pans as well as my Mason Jars. Well built.

Dishes always dingy, even when soap dispenses

I live in military housing, and when they told me they were replacing my old dishwasher with a new one, I was thrilled.
I want my old dishwasher back.
The soap cup opens so infrequently that I don't bother closing it anymore. But this doesn't matter, because dishes come out crusty, glasses are grimy, and the utensils are filthy. Also, the loads take a really long time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
