The dishwasher does a nice job. Doesn't dry everything as I would like, don't like that you have to use jet dry.

LEAVES DISHES WET! even with heated dry

Not very happy with this product. It cleans quite well but every wash I get a wonderful surprise of water everywhere. I have to let it sit open to even have a hope to dry. Today I've left the door open for a full 24 hours and theres still water sitting on the top and bottom of the machine (and it stinks a little). Love most GE products but would not recommend this one. Another peeve is that the door has 2 places it sits...closed or fully open where someone can trip on it; loved my old one in that it would actually always heated dry quite well (which I took for granted!) and it would stay in whatever position I left it in. Look elsewhere unless fixed by GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought a new home and this appliance was already in it. it washes well but never dries them. My dishes are always wet.

We have been using this washer for 3 months now. It can hold a lot of dishes and easy to load. Only complaint is that sometimes the soap area doesn't dissolve all of the soap. We may have to switch to liquid.
