The dishwasher works well and gets dishes clean. However, I do not like the silverware slots, the idea of picking the silverware up by the heads after it is clean is not my favorite thing. If you do not use the slots, then the silverware handles will block the soap dish from opening and then things do not get clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes Dishes Sparkle

I have been genuinely impressed with this washing machine. The dishes really sparkle after its use. It always gets everything off of the plates and is pretty spacious.

Bought this a lil over a month ago... not completely thrilled with it. As it doesnt leave dishes dry once completed..I have to open dishwasher and shake baskets everytime then let sit a lil longer to let the dishes finish drying. :(
my old dishwasher would leave dishes hot and dry...
I thght paying a lil more for this dishwasher than purchasing one of the lesser priced ones I would have been more happy...not so sure now :(

Does not dry the dishes. We have to wipe off the dishes before putting them away. Also the stainless steel door is hard to clean. Cycle select functions are cumbersome.

We did not select our dishwasher as it came with the house we had built. I am not fond of the way the racks are designed, not conducive for maximum stacking & the basic buttons easily stick. This would not have been my choice if I had a choice in selecting a dishwasher. Each time I run the dishwasher, I use the "heat dry" but the dishes are still wet the next morning.

My old dishwasher had issues with the control panel (delamination) and the front panel began to bubble up with sub-surface corrosion. I contacted customer service and the gentleman was very friendly and helpful. I got a great deal on a replacement (more expensive model) that so far performs great. Thanks, GE, you do bring good things to light!
