Unit has leaked several times. The seal does not always work. Builder installed and I had wished they allowed to upgrade to GE profile unit.

I had never had a GE dishwasher, at first it was working properly but now I have something happened to me a couple of times, when I fully load the dishwasher the lid with the soap is either not opening thoroughly or opening to late and the soap finishes stuck to the door. I checked the silverware to see if something is blocking it but apparently nothing is. If it is the fact that the lid is so close to the sloths where the utensils go I am a bit disappointed with the design or if it is already having trouble sycronizing with the cycle I am as well disappointed because we have only had it for four months.

This dishwasher came with my new home. I have not been able to use the dishwasher since I have moved in. It has been 1 1/2 months now and it still leaks out of the lower front cover. GE technician came out and attempted to replace the front seal, still leaked. He indicated that water is getting around the seal. He ordered a new one and installed it, and again, it still leaks. We have scheduled another repair for the same issue. It has flooded our brand new kitchen on three occasions. The dishwasher does not rinse very well. Leaves a white film on everything. We are using the recommended products. I already left a review with the builder on inferior appliances being installed in the new homes and need to consider looking at another manufacturer. I was a little leery when I was told they use GE to provide the standard appliances.

No problem cleaning. Rack is poorly designed. Not enough tines. Much more difficult to fit dishes than previous GE machine

Has some nice features, but ...

Our new house came equipped with this dishwasher. It looks really nice, but is not a great performer. It is noisy and the wash cycles seem to take an unusually long time, especially on the heated dry option. The detergent dispenser door sticks sometimes, even with a liquid product.

this machine does not do a good job and it run forever, it's very noisy and makes too many clanking sounds like it's falling apart.
