[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ThinkPad L13 arrived safely packaged and without a glitch. I ordered it because I wanted a laptop that was sturdy, had the latest processors and, especially, was Linux ready. I wasn't disappointed. It was easy to partition the hard-drive and load Ubuntu and everything has run smoothly since.
I've run Ubuntu on another manufacturer's computer and always had some problem with compatibility. I have not had any compatibility issues with the ThinkPad L13 and now wonder why I waited so long to switch to Lenovo.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy, medium-sized laptop. The 3i seems quick enough, but the SSD is definitely worth it, comparing this model with an SSD to my brother who didn't want to pony up for the smaller SSD. The lid is metal, but the bottom is plastic, seems a bit odd, but it gives the lid a nice sturdy feel when you're opening and closing it.

Just received my new computer for working from home. 1) it came much faster than initially stated, about 3 weeks faster 2) it is a well made machine- light, smooth, easy to use and customize 3) when computers are made “pretty” nowadays and this is really viewed and a business workhorse, it is a beautiful workhorse. Very happy with my purchase
