[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The negative are it’s a small laptop. Perhaps due to the fact it doesn’t have side numerical pad and it only has a couple USB ports. The positives are it’s small and lightweight. As an engr, i used a much heavier (and albeit expensive) Thinkpad for work, this would be a basic homeowners laptop. I opted for Microsoft home package. Overall been real happy with it. Extremely fast start up. I use this laptop three to four hours a week for excel, word, email, and printing a few PDFs. I’m not running any “large” programs on it simultaneously. Overall been pleased with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great laptop, especially for the price - given the laptop wasn't the most expensive ThinkPad I've purchased for the staff recently, I wasn't sure what to expect or how the durability would be. Only had it a few weeks, but the L13 appears to be the same quality as the other ThinkPads I've owned over the years. I was also worried that the lower cost might mean it was bulky or heavier, but again solid thin laptop. No touch screen, that was the one item I overlooked, but frankly that wasn't a priority for this laptop anyway given it is used in the office on a dock most of the time anyway.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy this computer - it’s light weight, functional, and is reminiscent of a typical Lenovo thinkpad. I will say after comparing a lot of computers I thought I had purchased the yoga so that was confusing, but I went more by price point and function so overall not upset with my purchase - just be sure to read carefully because there are lots of models with similar names!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this laptop one week and I have now tweaked it to my likings. One think I always do is remove the shortcut arrows and postpone all Windows updates until the bugs are fixed. The machine is a dream and very fast response to commands. In fact, the one annoyance is that the trackpad is extremely sensitive (I have set to minimum sensitivity) and sometimes my heavy hand causes it to perform when I don't want it to perform. I know I can deactivate the trackpad and use a mouse but that really defeats the purpose of a laptop.
