I have issues

Already had to have the unit serviced. Can't get the dishes dry when they finish washing. However the unit is very quiet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet but not a power washer for silverware

This dishwasher is quiet compare to my previous dishwasher. I feel like it cleans the dishes well but because the silverware container is attached to the front of each drawer (between drawer and door) and not inside the drawer I don't feel like it cleans the silverware good. I am consistently having to wash silverware 2-3 times to come clean or hand wash it afterwards. Also, the blue plastic flaps that cover the tops of silverware container are consistently falling off and don't stay on well. We just removed them completely. I love that the drawers are deep and adjustable and fit my dishes (previous dishwasher didn't).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Washes dishes, not great at drying dishes

This dishwasher does the job when it comes to washing dishes but not so much at drying them. There is water left behind inside the machine and drops on the dishes

Really gets 'em clean!

I haven't had a dishwasher in years and now that I have my new GE I don't know what I was waiting for. I never rinse the dishes or bowls before I put them in and they always come out squeaky clean, even when I let them sit for days before running the dishwasher. It runs quietly too. I love my GE dishwasher.

Chose this unit because of the upgraded clean look of having the controls concealed. This dishwasher was an excellent choice to replace the dated one I had in my kitchen.

New Dishwasher after 17 years!

My dishwasher is great - washes, dries beautifully! Love that I can wash top or bottom separately. Cautions: when using the AutoSense setting, wash powder doesn't seem to empty all the way from the cup. Also, quiet challenging to load bowls, large items and more than 2 pots or pans. I'll keep working to the maximum capacity.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and bought new appliances. Our new dishwasher has been very disappointing. It does a very poor job regardless of the cycle I choose. If dishes are not THOROUGHLY rinsed the washer doesn't clean them, regardless of the load size. Even the inside of the machine still looks dirty after a full cycle. I have tried all the manufactures recommendations with no success.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
