This dishwasher is so quiet, you hardly hear it even with no other noise around you. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't dry the dishes completely (although, I don't know of any dishwasher that does) and the cycle times are long. Other than that, I love it!

Dishes are constantly dirty

I purchased this as a floor model and would love to return it if I could! My dishes are constantly coming out dirty. I basically prewash everything by hand and then use the dishwasher, which seems pointless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

purchased one month ago and it is great !!!!!!! super quiet ,you have to put your ear to it to tell it's running...... no rinsing of plates with the built in disposer. what can i say "love it "

we haven't had any issues yet, and are happy with the purchase. the only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the silverware basket systems - not the easiest to use, but i'm sure i'll get used to them.
