Smart Styling and Efficient

We purchased this item approximately two weeks ago, and was so impressed the first time we used it. During the entire cleaning process the unit was so quiet, and the cleaning of my dishes was superior. I could not be happier with this product. We had to replace another unit that was not near as efficient, and so glad that we with this product. Plus the price was right and money well spent.

Dishwasher looks awesome but has drain issues. Its appearance would make one think it could take the paint off of a car but it fails at cleaning. If you do not mind scrubbing all of the dishes spotless before putting them into the machine then it is great. I would call it a dish sterilizer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very fine dishwasher

We are long time GE Dishwasher customers and were thrilled with option of putting the silverware baskets outside the dish racks and loved the stemware holders. It does a fine job of washing the dishes clean. My one difficulty with this machine is the dark interior and dark racks. We have collection of Fiesta Colbalt Blue dishes and they almost disappear when placed in the racks making it difficult to place the dishes properly for washing. Our previous GE dishwashers had lighter racks. Is it possible to obtain lighter racks?

dishes. Run time is a little long and we ended up taking out the second silverware

Clean and Quiet

We purchased this new dish washer because the one that came with our new house six years ago finally broke. We had been talking about getting a new dishwasher for two years, but were waiting for our original to die. We made our decision to by our GE based on customer reviews, features, and the fact it is made in Louisville (American made). Compared to other brands in the same price segment, this unit had top-tier features (stainless interior, hidden controls, etc) and had the lowest decibel rating. We are extremely happy with this GE product and have purchased more GE appliances that we are equally pleased with.

I loved the features of this dishwasher and liked the way it looked in the store and it looks even nicer in my kitchen. It is so quiet when it's on, I actually had to bend over to hear it! LOL I highly recommend considering this if ou are serching for a great buy and a good dishwasher.
