Very quiet, looks very nice. I figured with the extreme length of the cleaning cycle, it would perform better. Doesn't clean as well as the model I have from 7 years ago. The drying cycle seems useless.

Great Dishwasher Except...

I love the look of this dishwasher and how extremely quiet it is however, my dishes come out wet, and not just a little. I have to dry each one and this is after using the drying option. I have adjusted my hot water heater to increase the temperature of the water but my dishes are still wet. Other than that, I really like this dishwasher. I have given it a 3 star rating because at the price, this dishwasher should have dry dishes at the end of the cycle.

Good interior height

We've had this machine for 1 month now. It is a replacement for one we bought that had a faulty computer and was declared DOA. I want to commend the service offered by the people GE sent to the house to check the machine and then the others to replace it. All those people were great and very knowledgeable. The help offered on the phone was not helpful or correct in their assessment. About the machine itself, the only complaint I have so far is that we use the "no heat" dry option and it leaves the dishes VERY wet. I know, I know: it's no heat, but our old machine left a much more dry load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very disappointed in the performance and design of this dishwasher. The dispenser has malfunctioned numerous times. Every time I unload the dishwasher, I have a sink full of dirty dishes to hand wash. The silverware baskets are so very upsetting. You have to load each piece into its own little hole. If you don't, the silverware won't get clean. (Unfortunately my forks are too large for the little flatware racks!) While you try to load (and unload) the baskets, the baskets fall off the racks. And I hate that you have to tug (and touch) at each piece individually to remove it from the baskets. It is so irritating! With the design, the upper and lower silverware baskets take up a great deal of the space for other dishes. At best, this dishwasher might be suitable for a single person that doesn't cook. It doesn't have any room for much more than that. The position of the tines are not conducive to loading cereal bowls, medium to large mixing bowls, or pots. The handle on the front the appliance sticks out more than you might realize. It might interfere with other cabinet doors or drawers. Since I have had to resort to hand washing most of my dishes, it seems that this kitchen appliance is BASICALLY USELESS!

Wow, holds a lot

Overall a great dishwasher. It definitely holds the most dishes of any dishwasher we've ever used. @ silverware racks is a plus also as is the feature athat lets you wash the top rack only or bottom rack only. Very impressed, appliances have come a long way.

Had a GE Profile at previous house. Ten times better than this model. Dishes need to be prewashed. Drying is not satisfactory. Have to dry by hand at end of wash cycle for dishes to be dry at end of dry cycle. Set time for 224 minutes. Doesn't seem very energy efficient.
