I love this filing box because of how durable it is. I just REALLY wish it came in other colors then just black!! I love bright energetic colors

Portable file box

I have 2 of the Sterilite Portable file boxes. They are very useful for temporary or permanent storage of your files. The first 1 we bought was used to keep track of our monthly bills and receipts. Later as our paperwork grew we switched to using the file box for only the current month and then moved the contents to Banker Boxes for 7 year storage.
I bought a 2nd boxes for current projects and activities: maps and vacation literature, home projects ideas, and other items we are working on.
The only problem we have experienced is the locking latch on the front breaking the tabs that hold it in place, but they still work.

Latch Broke

This is a great product. The only problem I have is that the latch snapped off. It would be great if the company had a link to replacement parts for their products. I do recommend if it is heavy, not to pick it up by the handle. That is how my latch broke.

This portable organizer allowed me to get all of my files ready and organized for the beginning of the school year. It came in very handy in helping me store important documents that I wanted to be able to locate after summer break! Awesome product =)

AWESOME box for the office

I work partly from home and partly from my office. I have three of these. They are wonderful products to keep all of your files and information with you in an organized and easily moveable manner. The best part is that I even put way too much stuff in one and broke the hinged fastener. I contacted Sterlite and then sent me one free! I just had to snap it on and it worked perfectly. It also has a place for makers/pens/whiteout/paperclips and anything else you can think of in the lid. This is a great product and I have been using it for years. I highly recommend!!

I use this product in my classroom -- it is just the right size to keep the worksheets I use with my direct instruction reading program where I can get to them as I need them. I love it.

Classroom Organized!

WOWZA! I love the portable file box that I use in my first grade classroom! I am able to easily find materials that I need to work with individual and small groups of students. I keep papers, mini posters, and many other essential items inside the bin. I store a calculator, pens and pencils, note paper, paperclips and other needed items in the in-lid storage compartment. When teaching young children reading, writing, and math every minute is important! With this Sterilite product I am always ready to teach and therefore my students can learn more! It is so great to help keep me organized and ready to teach! I love it!
