The dryer cable is too short, it's literally feet short of reaching. What's the point???

MultiControl Cable too short.

This kit is a waste of money. It is too short. You have one point of the top of the dryer and the other port is halfway down the washer. Why have a multi control kit that does not fit your product. The dryer works great unless they are stacked and the person using them is only 5ft tall.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cable too short

The multi-controller kit cable is too short.The dryer cable connection is almost at the top but the cable is just 9 inches long. It does not work.

It’s completely understandable how frustrating it can be when everything is nearly set up, but a short 9-inch cable falls just out of reach due to a high connection point, throwing off the entire installation. Let us help.
We appreciate you sharing a photo showing the top of your dryer. Based on what we see, it appears your dryer model may not be equipped with the MultiControl™ feature, which could explain why the cable doesn’t align as expected. Dryer models with the MultiControl™ feature have the connection located at the bottom right-hand side, allowing the MultiControl™ cable to reach properly.
Please note that the Samsung DV-MCK Laundry MultiControl™ Kit is only compatible with front-load washers and dryers that include the MultiControl™ feature.

Not compatible

I just got this and it is too short. Samsung changed the location of the port on some of its washing machines so now it's on the opposite side of the washer, making it far away from the dryer port. Agree with everyone else that this is problem and apparently not on Samsung's list of things to correct. It's also very absurd to me that you can't control the dryer via Wi-Fi from the washer. Seriously makes no sense to have a wired connection when your washer and dryer already have Wi-Fi and we live in the 21st century. I would suggest a wireless option.
Now I will await the response to call customer support which I am not going to do unless it involves a free cable that's long enough.

Cable is way to short

What is the purpose of this kit if the cable is to short? On both my washer and dryer the connector is on the top of the unit and this cable does not reach the dryer. I am not sure it was really thought through.
