Too short

so i bought the new 8800 washer/dryer combo along with the samsung stacking kit. i also ordered the multi control kit. it was out of stock so after waiting for almost 3 months it came in finally. well when i tried to hook it up the dryer side of the cord is too short and will not reach the dryer input port.
i don't get it. i do not see multiple options depending upon the machine models.
once again just terrible attention to detail.
now if i do not connect the bracket and just use the cord portion it does work to control both units. this is not the intended design or installation however.

The DRYER cable is crazy short

i tried adjusting the cable, but it's really that short. it's connected to a small pcb. i was hoping to feed some of the washer cable onto the other side, because there's more slack on that side. pretty disappointing and terrible design from samsung.
also using multicontrol is hit and miss. sometimes the washer control panel throws an error code '9c1'. what is going on, samsung?

It works, just takes more effort

the cable fits, just.
it does control the dryer from the washer, after a lot of extra effort not in the installation video.
samsung, would it have killed you to make the dryer end of the cable 1"/2.54 mm longer?
800 characters was not enough to detail what it took to make this installation work.

Terrible part

too short - barely connects. and dryer only ran a couple of times from the connected control and niw stopped. forget calling support

On my second one, doesn't work

the first one i got has the issue others have, it was assembled incorrectly and was switched around. i got another one as a replacement, this one is assembled correctly, but the dryer wire is almost too short. once connected, it still doesn't see the dryer, keeps saying connect the dryer. it is connected! getting support so far seems to be a problem, no one at samsung support seems to know how to troubleshoot this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Flaw in design

the dryer cord is on the wrong side. i took the chip cover off to see if i could rotate the chip 180 degrees, but sadly the chip board can only be inserted in the wrong direction because it has a hole on one side that fits over a plastic bump.

Multi control is too short!

I absolutely love my washer and dryer, but we just remodeled our laundry room and decided to stack them to free up space in there. We decided to purchase the multi control kit because I’m too short to reach the controls on the dryer now. Multi control kit comes and the connector port on out dryer is at the top of it and the cable doesn’t even reach that far. I’ve been search and searching for a control kit that is longer on the dryer end if it and have had no luck.
