Hey guys I received my hyperdrive Gen2 USB-C Hub12 in 1... AND I CAN´T MAKE MY IPAD PRO DETECT IT! I have been going to several forums to see whats the problem but I caný find a patch or update.... please help and advise!

* monitor: excellent performance with my external monitor for both windows and Mac OS
* solution: works wonders with cable management and time to setup workstation
* power: supplies ample power using MBP power supply for both MBP and windows laptop

Received the product and worked for 1 day. The hub wouldn't power-up anymore. The all metal construction scratches everything that it touches. Also, beware there is no usb-c input (only 1 usb-c output to your laptop and one to receive power source)

although it is one of the best purchase I ever did on a crowdfunding pledge there is a slight disappointment with it. The USB Cable is on the wrong side of the Dock, I do not understand, why it is not on the rear side, where you have the "static" connectors like monitor, network and power supply. On a small desk you always have this cable in front of you blocking access to the ports on the front. Another point is that the cable is too short.
As for the short cable, do you have a practical solution? I tried with an extension but it is underrated for the power supply and when using a 100W USB-C Cable I need an adapter to connect them together and then the dock does not work. Would maybe be worth to offer this as an Accessorie.
All in all a good product but there is room for improvement for the next generation.

I have had it for about a month, and it's working fine. I purchased it mainly for the hdmi video output for an external monitor for my laptop. But it's nice having the extra audio port and the additional USB 3 ports also. The hdmi port stopped working after a few months with another dock that I had previously purchased from another company. So far, it's fine.

Poor functionality with Mac.

This thing regularly makes my 43” monitor blink every time I wake up the screen. Sometimes, I have to reset the USB-C connection cable or HDMI connector. Not a very stable unit for what you pay at all. If I could, I’d return the 3 units I purchased and never try them again. Perhaps, PC users have a different experience, but with Mac, it’s no bueno.
Come to think of it, my brother uses the one I got him with his HP Spectre, and he’s never once gotten the headphone jack on the Hyper to work. Just not well designed, I guess.
