New hobby!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am no expert in crafting..... but it has begun to be my new hobby! With a little bit of time spent researching in what to cut with the scan cutter (YouTube works ) the booklet that comes with helps alot THANKS BROTHER just 7 steps to set up and you are ready to cut .their is so much you can do w this BROTHER machine. The software is a learning process but if this is what you want to learn it be okay .take your time in learning how to do each and every fun step you'll enjoy experiencing.

So far I’ve done one or two projects, but I haven’t had it long enough to get more supplies. Easy to use and any questions I’ve had can be easily found online. Love the draw function, love what it already comes with & love that’ll be easy to USB transfer files & even easier to scan ANYTHING to cut! Quiet too! The only thing bad I could say is the price of the accessories but even that’s not unreasonable:)

Unlocked my inner creativity

Super easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to use and was fun for me and my 6 year old! Easy to follow instructions and was fun for use making this box. We did learn to use a half cut on some vinyl after a few mess ups. No worries though as its a learning curb for us! Easy to store as well and don't take up much space!

Crafting Made Easy

I’ve never been a crafty person, despite my attempts. I was really excited and nervous to use this product, but it had been a true delight. Right out of the box, it was incredibly user friendly to set up. Everything was ready to go within ten minutes. The instructions were really clear to start and interactive which helps a hands on learner like myself. Cutting is really easy and so much fun especially for a beginner like me. Once I started I couldn't stop. I love being able to wirelessly transfer files from my computer to my machine, and I can make small edits after transfer on the touch screen area of the machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am by no means, an expert crafter. In fact, I'm very new to the hobby. I spent quite a bit of time researching before deciding which cutting machine to purchase. If you just do paper-crafting the SDX might be over-kill but if you work with vinyl the SDX has a roller feed (optional) which takes a roll of vinyl. The blade depth is automatic so it adjusts to different thicknesses of material.

So easy to use and lots of projects to make

I am new to the cutting and vinyl crafting, but I have been wanting to get into it with my first machine. The hardest thing about the Brother ScanNCut DX SDX125E Electronic DIY Cutting Machine with Scanner was getting it out of the box and even that was easy enough. The instructions are simple to follow and walks through every step to get this set up. It includes a pen insert and blade insert to make the designs. The touch screen is intuitive and makes everything a cinch to operate. I love that it includes 682 patterns plus I can create my own. This comes with one project as a tutorial, which is a little gift basket and it is so cute. I love it! So far I have made some Valentine's Day decorations and some lettering to put on a window. I know I will be addicted to using this as soon as I get more supplies to do all the projects I have in mind and more!

Fun to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will be honest I have been looking at these for a few years and always talk myself out of it. So when i seen this beauty and color it was a no brainer was going to accept. I am no expert and will admit I had some trouble figuring it out so had to refer to youtube to better guide me. I though did have a friend was a bit more experienced with this kind of machine make me feel pretty dumb so if you have experience or even if a beginner like me it is still cool. It was a cinch to get setup on the network and was released to play with. After I got the hang of it I will be honest I went a little crazy. I had so much fun and the scanning and cutting features made things so much faster cleaner and easier. The biggest complaint is the feeder it had some issues I had to do a cleanup on it. Overall though great product. So much fun be prepared though to buy lots of vinyl to experiment with.
