Horrible Iron

This iron is awful. The button is in a bad place it constantly changes settings because of the poor placement and that alone is reason not to buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First new iron I've had in 20 years and now I can't do without it! It glides so smoothly and puts out plenty of steam. My favorite feature is no-leaking!
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is a good iron, I'm a quilter and an iron is essential and with daily use I have found out that Irons do NOT last long. This is a good one BUT doesn't get hot enough and the water tank doesn't last long and the cord is way too long. But, at least it doesn't leak, YET!

Too costly to only last 8 months

This iron is 8 months old. Now it won’t stay warm It just automatically turns off while I am trying to use it. A cold iron is not much good

Very cute ... leaks like a sieve

I was happy with the iron at first but the first time I used it with water for steam most of the water leaked out before the iron was even done coming up to temperature. Very disappointed. Looks like I'm stuck with it as it only has a 30 day guarantee. Kind of a pricey shelf ornament ...

Quit heating after 3 weeks

Bought in November and it worked great for 3 weeks. Plugged it in one day, green light flashed for 30 seconds, and then light turned red and iron did not heat. Changed heat setting but nothing. Unplugged and plugged again. Same flashing green light and no heat. Of course I don’t have the original shipping packaging. Very disappointed to say the least.

Steamcraft plus steam button

I reviewed the wrong model...it is this model. The steam button quit working after only 9 months of use...a couple times a week. There is no steam at all even tho the steam dial on the dial is selected. The iron is to useable.

Never knew singer made iron until i saw one at a friend's house - had to immediately buy one. Above and beyond what i was using before(night&day).. the only issue is where the power bitton is
- its located right at the top of the grip on the handle-
every now and then as I'm ironing my grip would accidentally press the button and shut the iron off
I would recommend this to a friend!
