Great oven - interface is a bit slow

We've had this oven for three weeks now and it cooks really well, especially compared to our old oven which never held temperature and was temperamental. We've enjoyed using normal, convection, and fryer modes for a pretty wide variety of foods including several cakes, pastries, and rounds of home made pizza which all turned out nicely. The lighting inside is great as are the big clear windows that allow you to see how your food is cooking. The oven is quiet in all modes and preheats in a reasonable amount of time.
I haven't hooked the oven up to the internet or used the app to control it. I also haven't updated the oven firmware as it works. Perhaps if Cafe published a list of new features that were in each version of the firmware I might be tempted to update the firmware, but over the years I've learned not to update things for no good reason the hard way.
The touch screen interface works well overall. That said, it is slow to react and change screens, especially compared to an oven with physical controls. Not so slow as to be a problem, but given how fast smart phone interfaces are, even on cheap smartphones, I would have expected a slightly faster interface on an oven at this price point. The one thing I do really miss from our old oven is that it had a dedicated timer button and know to set the length of the timer, and it was easy to add or remove time. On this oven it's a couple of clicks to set the timer and, if you want to add time, you have to cancel the timer and then start it again. A button that allowed you to add a minute for each press would be a great addition.
Another minor issue is that the regular shelves don't slide especially smoothly and there's one small paint chip on one of the shelf supports already. Not a significant functional issue but the oven would seem much more deluxe if all of the shelves were the sliding shelves on rails with bearings.
I hope this oven is reliable over the long term as it is a pleasure to cook with it. We plan on avoiding the self clean feature as this is known to kill the electronics in most ovens. Have not used the steam clean feature yet.

Great Features. . .

OMG!!!!! This is a great double oven. I recently remodeled my kitchen and replaced all of my appliances. Of all the appliances, this double oven is GREAT!! The air fryer, convection oven, and self cleaning mode makes it heads and shoulders above the competition. There's nothing you can do to improve this model.
I'm one happy customer!!

We've only had our new appliances for a few weeks, but so far, we absolutely love them! Our double oven looks amazing and is very intuitive to use. Love the easy glide racks and there is a chicken wing setting! Still learning all the features, but we are very happy with our choice so far.

This double oven does absolutely everything. I can’t even imagine that there could be a better product than this one. The air fry is my favorite option. My kids love the camera

Beautiful, but not pleased with purchase

Upper fan and cooling fan need to be replaced on this brand new unit! Kind of stinks to be in a new home for the holidays, yet unable to cook or bake because of this problem!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
