Bad Controls!!

I bought this oven to replace my GE Profile double oven which I loved. I needed a new oven to fit in the same place and have been very happy with GE products, good service and design. This oven is quiet and cooks well. However it is very frustrating to use. The touchscreen is too small. You cannot see the controls of both ovens simultaneously. When you use the timer, you inadvertently shut the oven off because the icons are too close together. The oven gives you alerts for the timer going off that blocks the screen until you manually shut it off. There should be dedicated controls for each oven and the timer. This design is not for people who use both ovens and change the temperatures for different dishes. Shame on the engineers that designed the controls. They are not cooks.

Nothing cooks in the proper time

The precision cooking doesn’t cook to the proper temp. When baking nothing is done when it’s supposed to be. Not happy. Miss my old oven that was 20 years old.

Good features but….

I’m still learning about what my ovens are capable of doing. It’s barely a month that I’ve had them so I might want to change my review after more time with them. I like how easy they are to operate. My issues so far are fairly trivial. It seems when I turn the oven light it lights up both ovens even though I’m using only 1. I wish I could turn on timers for both ovens independently. And lastly I don’t know why I had to join a network to use the air fryer and multrake convection bakes.

Terrible quality!

Terrible product! Terrible quality! This is the second GE Cafe product that failed in the new kitchen in just over 1 year... so just out of warranty but the agent on the phone was willing to provide the cost of a new double wall oven... The GE website as well as the "support app" are very generic and require lots of time investment to get little information in return. The GE cafe double wall oven failed while performing self-cleaning on the bottom oven. The screen is off so neither ovens work and the bottom oven is locked closed. When checking the circuit breaker in the electrical panel, the breaker never tripped. Turning the breaker off, waiting 2 minutes, and turning the breaker back on doesn't fix the oven, still no power to the touch screen and in turn dead double ovens. The double wall oven was very difficult to safely lift and install into a corner kitchen environment. Any potential troubleshooting requiring access to the back of the oven is going to require dissembling the cabinets around the oven install.

Really quiet

The oven works very well. It is so quiet, even with convection, that I wonder if it is on. It is very easy to use. The only downside is the pull-out racks seem to fit pretty tightly, so when I move them they scratch the oven. I don't know if that's an installation problem or the oven itself.

It’s a beautiful oven! I bought this oven in early September but did not have it installed until late September . The oven has worked well though I think the instructions in the manual that I had to download could be much clearer. The air fry for bacon does not work well at all. And I honestly have not tried a lot of the other features

Clock Resets to 6 hours ahead

I had this oven installed 6 months ago, the first time. I set the clock. Within a couple of hours, the clock resets on its own to 6 hours ahead. After multiple visits and replacement parts, they finally installed a new oven. And now, the same thing is happening. I'm finding it hard to believe that I am the only one with this issue, unless it is user error and there is a time zone setting which I have not found (and the GE technician didn't find either). Can anyone assist?
