One out of three isn’t bad?

Had a new GE Profile oven installed two years ago. It stopped working and couldn’t be fixed. Replaced it with a GE Cafe oven. This one was defective and never worked. Replaced it with the same model and #three was the charm. I would have gone with another brand if the space in the wall had allowed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn’t work

First time we used the oven on August 22nd, we got an error code F353. We tried to reset unsuccessfully. We have asked for service and have been told September 10th is earliest appointment. Very disappointing!

Software update causing screen reboots

Oven been constantly rebooting for the past few months after receiving a prior software update. Additionally, there are now times when the oven is on, however the display does not show that causing a major safety issue. GE support is not being helpful, they keep telling me that there are no technicians available, trying to push me to third party technicians. Clearly something that a software update broke.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All the bells and whistles!

We bought this to replace a 20 year old oven. While some of the features were not on my must have list, they are definitely worth the money. The oven cooks so well and cooking times are so accurate. Baked goods turn out perfectly done. The air fryer feature is great for roasted veggies and you can cook much larger amounts than I can in my countertop one. The built in temp probe is very accurate and roasts are done exactly as you want them. I was able to try out the dehydration feature with my fresh herbs. So much faster than a food dehydrator abd you can do so much more at one time. This was definitely a bonus feature for me but it’s one I will use since I enjoy growing my own herbs. The enameled racks slide so smoothly. So far we are very pleased with this purchase abd I am loving having an oven that is so accurate! Looking forward to Christmas baking!!

Nice oven

My GE Monogram double oven's control panel wore out, so I needed a whole new oven. The new one is the GE Cafe. It's nice. I don't like the fact that the control panel is small compared to the width of the oven and you can only see the settings for one oven at a time. Also there is only one light control, so when you put the light on, both ovens light up. It also seems that you need to turn everything off individually instead of having the option of turning everything off at once. The top oven seems to be off by around 25 degrees. The Wi-Fi is nice. The ovens are wide to accommodate the biggest pans. Seems to maintain temp well once it is reached.

I love this oven

After much research to replace my Viking double wall oven (one with many flaws), I selected the Cafe professional double oven. It had several features that I didn’t go looking for, such as the in-oven camera (I didn’t even know that was a thing!). That’s the icing on the cake. But what I wanted, and got, was an oven that bakes evenly and roasts perfectly. It has other great features like air fryer and a proofing setting (great for bread baking). It does everything I want and more. And I love the touchscreen display. All in all, I could not have made a better choice.
