GE Profile Double Wall Oven is amazing!

I am in love with my new GE Profile Double Wall Oven with left hand swing! I thought my previously owned 20 year old GE Profile double wall oven was awesome (and it was), but this new oven is absolutely over the top! It is amazing how fast it heats up, cooks evenly and accurately, and has so many bells and whistles to use and customize to your own likes and needs. The convection bake function is flawless, the air fry bake is a game changer and I'm just getting started with learning and using the plethora of functions. Now that I'm getting older and seem to be the incredible shrinking woman - haha (I used to be 5'6" and am now 5'3"), it had become too difficult to reach and use my prior top oven. The left hand swing open doors on this oven have enabled me to use both the top and lower ovens again. I can't tell you how excited I am about this new double oven. Although I'm not a fan of wi-fi gadgets, I find myself actually having fun using the wi-fi features on it. I am, and have been a loyal owner of many GE appliances for over 30 years to include upright freezers, front load washer and dryer, glass cooktop, and refrigerator. All of my GE appliances have served me very well. Did I mention that I love my new ovens? Run, don't walk, and get this oven. You can thank me later.

The oven doors opening and closing on the right make it a perfect space saver. The oven is Wi-Fi, has many capabilities, like air fryer and healthy menu! cooks and bakes to perfection. It has a window with pictures you can select its digital readout is nice looking. The oven is easy to figure out and use. It has a very polite chime, letting you know it is heated to correct temp, and a soft chime when food is ready.

The side opening doors make putting meals into the ovens so much easier and safer. The bottom rack slides make transferring food a breeze!

Great design. Lower oven unusable.

Love the design and the functionality of the side swinging doors. However, the lower oven has never reliably worked. Repeatedly get a F353 error code when the lower oven heats up, then the entire oven turns off and will not function again until the oven cools down. Had GE service replace the cooling fan that was supposed to be the issue, and immediately upon trying to use the lower oven again the same error code appeared. Really wish that after purchasing a double wall oven I could use both ovens.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Side-Opening Door Takes First Prize!

The whole reason I chose GE appliances in the first place is because this wall oven has a side-opening door feature that other brands don't offer. There is a particular baking show where contestants use ovens with doors that open like traditional doors (from the top with hinges at the bottom) and then slide into and underneath the oven. These are not available in the U.S. without some very fancy electrical acrobatics. The next best choice was the side-opening door feature. With three feet of hair that's not always tied back when I'm baking, burning my hair on the hot oven door is something I never want to smell again.
