Two Laptops failed within 6 months.

I purchased two XPS 13 9310 laptops in March, 2021. The first failed in April due to Ram Failure. Got fixed in 5 days with a refurbished mother board. The second failed due to Ram failure in September. No repair yet? Parts due at the end of November? I have been forced to buy another new computer so we can keep working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The lil' laptop that could.

I have been an XPS user for years. When this tiny laptop arrived I thought I might have messed up by not getting a 15" or 17". After a few days of use I am thrilled with everything about this system. From ridiculously short boot times to the OLED displays incredible viewing quality there is nothing small about the XPS13's performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not What I Expected

I had issues with the first model received. There appeared to be a defect of some sort with the display, which after several calls to Dell, I was able to get replacement.
New unit does not have the display issue but unfortunately is having wifi driver issues as well as a OS issue. This is quite disappointing given I trust the Dell brand and have largely been happy with their products in the past.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dell XPS 13" 9310

Just received this new laptop this week with the newest 11th generation Intel chips and it is great. I have the one with the ultra hi-def touch screen. The colours are vivid, the screen has almost no bezel, the screen is bright, and the sound quality is very good. When you open the lid the machine wakes up immediately and no log in is required when facial recognition is turned on. Very happy with this purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We recommend installing the Intel Processor Power Management Utility to better tune Fan/CPU performance: https://dell.to/38zkXN2

For this package to take effect, the system power plan must be set to Balanced under the Additional Power Settings. Also, the Power Mode option that is displayed when you click the battery icon, should be set to Better Performance. This package only takes effect on AC power and not on battery power.
