The functionality of this warming drawer/slow cooker is great and well versed. We've used it for typical warming functions all the way to slow cooking for several hours. I'd highly recommend this drawer for any working kitchen. The only down side is that it doesn't have an auto shut-off (for those nights that you forget it's on).

Drawer slides fell apart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works as advertised. However during installation the bearings fell out of the drawer slides. They are pretty flimsy. After installing new slides it worked fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very handy appliance

It keeps everything from a large pizza to an entire Thanksgiving dinner warm and in perfect condition. No need to worry about having everything ready at the same time any more. Thank you Kitchenaid for a great cooking experience.

Slow cooker feature is a wonderful bonus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The warming tray has been such a wonderful addition to my kitchenaid kitchen. It keeps plates and food nice and warm when preparing dinner. My most favorite aspect of the drawer is the slow cooker feature. It works fabulously! No more need for a counter top appliance. I am extremely pleased.

Great addition to kitchen

I’ve always wanted a warming oven. In our last house we had a hood with infrared lights that functioned that way. This warming drawer is even better with more features. I’m attempting to make clotted cream in it as I write this. My one criticism is that the actual temperatures of the settings are not available. I needed to know that for the clotted cream and so had put a thermometer in the oven.
