Not as good as my older HP model it replaced. better electronically and faster system ....But shoddy workmanship , design or engineering. When I pick it up by the sides....makes a popping noise as there is play or a mismatch on both sides (loose ,can see sides open and close..Bottom 3-4 inches on both sides.
Great little computer, at a good price. I upgraded from my previous Pavilion, which had been an upgrade from a previous Pavilion. The system has good speed and I like the Micro-edge, and lighted key board.
Great laptop overall but terrible battery. I charge it and after only a little bit of use the battery is already drained. I have an older HP laptop (8-10 years old at least) and that battery last 2 days with comparable usage. Very disappointed in battery life as it hinders traveling and completing schoolwork where electric outlets are not as easily accessible
I've had HP products for a long time, starting with a Compaq mini-tower followed by a Compaq laptop. With only a couple of exceptions, enough to let me know what I'm missing, I've stuck with them. The architecture of the machine, the strength of the casing and mostly the customer service are the reasons I'm here. This particular machine is one I specified with a SSD 500 something GB, i7 core (10th gen, I think) and 16gb of ram. I was in a rush - what I miss on this is a lit keyboard. The touchscreen for a standard laptop is one I had before and really, it just messed up the screen. I don't miss it.
