Told the sprayer arm jammed and was spraying at door causing leak. Should not leak even if that happens. Also told this model has this problem.

GE has gotten cheap

GE appliances used to last decades. My new GE dishwasher started rusting in less than 2 months of use. The bottom rack doesn't roll in and out, it has to be forced and falls off constantly. Inside the dishwasher stays wet all the time, even with high drying feature.

Hello there, thank you for reaching out to us with this feedback. We are very disappointed to hear about your racks rusting, issues with the bottom rack, and dishes not drying. We are so sorry for the headache this has caused for you.
As for the dishwasher not drying, this could be due to multiple factors. First, we would recommend giving your dishwasher time to vent after the cycle ends. Also, please check that a high-quality rinse aid is being used, and that your inlet water temperature reaches at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit (this can be checked by running the faucet nearest your dishwasher on the highest setting and checking the temperature). More troubleshooting steps to try are on page 20 of the use and care manual, linked here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-4000218-2.pdf
As for the issues with the racks rusting and not being able to be pulled out, we are confident that our factory service and repair team will be able to address these problems for you. They can be contacted by calling 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET and Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET, or by visiting https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
We hope that this information helps you get the use you need out of your dishwasher, and please know we are here should you need any assistance from us in the future. -Elliot@GEA

Seems to clean very well, bottom rack is a little tricky rolling in and out. Could be smoother. Very quiet as well.

Not a fan of this product. It is builder's grade and looks and feels cheap, plasticy. I cannot get it to dry dishes at the end of the cycle. The interior is dripping wet as are the dishes. I may wish to replace myself i am that disappointed.

Doesn't Dry Dishes!
on August 1, 2022

This dishwasher is so cheap. This dishwasher does not dry dishes, no matter with dry setting you use. Your dishes come out dripping with. I've only had it a few months and the front is beginning to rust. The lights from the settings do not turn off after the cycle has finished. They take hours to randomly turn off.

Hi - We are truly saddened to hear about your disappointment and frustration regarding your GE dishwasher as this is not the owner experience, we want for you. Please accept our apologies as we do want you to be happy with your dishwasher.
We recommend checking first to make sure the water coming into the dishwasher is a minimum of 120 degrees F. as this is essential to good wash and dry performance. To check the incoming water temperature, place a candy or meat thermometer in a glass and let the hot water at the sink closest to the dishwasher run into the glass for 1-2 minutes or until the temperature stops rising. Please then adjust the settings on your water heater as needed.
Your dishwasher is covered by the manufacturer's warranty for one year and we encourage you to schedule a service appointment to have the unit checked. Please call 1-800-432-2737 to do so as we are confident our service team can help. Kind regards - Vikki@GEA
